Our 2010 Winner

Bella is a 16 week old Pit Bull Mix rescued from PAWS in Ft. Walton Beach Florida and the winner of
America's Most Beautiful Puppy 2010!!

A note from her Mommy:

Bella's favorite toys are a squeaky rubber monster and her tug rope.  Her favorite treat is grilled chicken pieces.  She loves to climb on our laps and snuggle her chin into our necks and fall asleep. Her favorite place is anywhere we are, especially at our feet, under the desk in the den.  She loves to chew on the trees in the backyard and will play chase with us when we try to stop her.  Bella has learned how to give kisses when asked, sit, stay, walk on the leash and come when , well, she feels like it. We're working on that one! One of her favorite things to do is sneak into our walk-in closet and stealing a slipper or sock...she runs like crazy and has no problem giving it back - she just loves the thrill of stealing it.  She had a great check up recently with our vet and behaved so well we felt like the proudest parents.  We feel very lucky to have found her. We know that she has brought new life and love into our home and we are blessed.  We named her Bells because when I first saw her she was "Oh, so beautiful to me!"  My heart felt full.  We were just at the end of a hard grieving process for our last rescue puppy, Fabio, who we saved while living in Italy. We had him for nearly 16 years and his sister Nina for 14 years.  It was time for another wonderful rescue puppy and so, this is the story of Bella.

It was REALLY difficult to pick the winners because all your submissions were so wonderful! Please don't feel sad that you didn't win, as we'll be having contests all year long and not all of them require a fee. So you have many more chances to win!!
